Once the platform is finished, the deck will be 10'x16'. There should be some kind of deck to sit out on, but the clubhouse itself could be located anywhere on that, and could be any size really.
(within reason of course). You've seen the pictures (http://jerrybuilt.com/secback.htm) , what do you think?

We could go ground floor, but two stories up may start to intimidate the neighbors.:(

You should just dig a big hole and push the whole darn thing into it. Cover it over, and hire someone that knows what they're doing. Jerry should be examined for mad cow disease. Bah!

Ok, I have a serious question...... Let's say Jerry actually does get this thing up and usable, Who's going to spring for the Beer!?? (which leads me to my second question pertaining to washroom facilities) :D

I already caught a couple of the neighbor boys trying to clear the fence in behind the platform. Hope the neighbors in behind weren't sitting in their window at the time.:o

 Please tell me that one of the "neighbor" kids did not have a name that started with T and ended with S!!

(Maybe putting up bulls-eye targets wasn't the smartest idea..)

With the decking under the clubhouse itself in place, we can start on the walls. So far we've got a small window in the back, and a larger window on the front wall, so that if the occupants are seated at a table inside, they could both look out over the yard. The door is on the right side end, leading out onto the deck. Go see the pictures in The Backyard (http://jerrybuilt.com/secback.htm)

We've suffered a minor delay in construction due to high winds and persistent rain. The walls are on, but the roof is still only tarped, and the winds acted on the tarp like a parachute, pulling up a few of our roof trusses. We should have the strapping down on the roof this weekend, and that will help.

Just took a look at the pictures!! Looking great!

Uh, what's with the new smiley beer guy? LOL very cute!

(Nothing like a bottomless glass of beer! Except of course a bottomless bottle of Kahlua!! hehehe)

Keep up the great work!

With the siding pretty much complete, except for above the door, we've begun nailing the corner boards in place. ( the strips that run down the corners to cap off the siding ends) Have a look at the pictures so far in the Backyard (http://jerrybuilt.com/secback.htm) , and let us know what you think. New pictures are pending, and we have received new windows that we will have to find a place for.

Wow, not bad for a hammer, hacked, hick!!! :D

Now, a little birdy told me that a "trap door" complete with net, "to trick the girls" will be added to this terrific treehouse!

Please, tell me this is not a "Boys" only, little elitist club starting here.....???

As they hear cries of, "What's all this then...?!"

Hmmmmm, O.K. Girls, grab up some of the scrap wood lying around it's SIGN making time!!!! :)
