To temporarily replace a broken pipe, use a small piece of garden hose. Secure both ends with pipe clamps, but before you tighten them down, use a glue gun to encircle the pipe. Apply the clamps directly over the glue to create a seal. Allow to dry before returning flow of water, and ease pressure upward to avoid rupture. Presto ! Now call a plumber. Bah !
